WRITING THE GLOBAL WELLBEING STRATEGY FOR A

FTSE 100

Covering 8000 people across 27 countries in very different roles (retail, manufacturing, creative and Head Office). This had the nuances of international health providers, cultures and laws. Also the challenge of how you create a central health, mental health and wellbeing strategy that will be rolled out globally in many locations in a way that makes an actual difference to the behaviour and health of employees 'on the shop floor'.

WRITING THE EU PARLIAMENT’S MENTAL HEALTH STRATEGY

Creating a clear strategic outlook for the EU Parliament’s mental health programme, which enabled them to integrate mental health aspects into HR policies in a clear and structured way. Click here for a full testimonial.

ASSISTING A CLINICAL eMENTAL HEALTH PROVIDER TRANSITION INTO A CORPORATE MARKETPLACE

Assisting them to transition from being used across clinical settings into a corporate marketplace and becoming a corporate proposition.

TAKING A GLOBAL FTSE 100 THROUGH THE PROCUREMENT OF A MENTAL HEALTH APP

This involved writing the RFP, recommending vendors, reading proposals, attending pitches, guiding procurement and then assisting in the implementation into their global wellbeing strategy.

CREATING A MENTAL HEALTH CHARTER WITHIN THE PR INDUSTRY

Working on a pro bono project facilitating the PR industry to create their own Mental Health Charter which they will implement to hold themselves and each other accountable around mental health.

WRITING THE WELLBEING STRATEGY FOR A TECH START-UP

Guiding a tech start-up through the development of a wellbeing strategy and procurement of providers to fit this. Work included running focus groups, workshops and strategy days as well as a desktop review.

CASE STUDIES

Creating and implementing a systemic, end-to-end, programme across a large corporate

When I left Health EY we could already see its impact. Use of all health providers was up (especially in mental health), there were 100s dialling into each Thrive webinar. Absence was reduced, and we had trained over 500 in Mental Health First Aiders (for culture change). Even more excitingly our health assessment data was showing an improvement in all health measures, across a worsening peer and industry backdrop. Health EY was improving the health and mental health of the business.

A new global wellbeing strategy, which included the design of an informed and authentic framework and governance structure

I worked with a FTSE100 brand to comprehensively review their existing wellbeing offering. They wanted to inform a new global wellbeing strategy, which included the design of an informed and authentic framework and governance structure. With over 8,000 employees globally, the client wanted to create a strategy that catered to their diverse workforce, from manufacturing and design, through to those working directly with their customers.

Running a tech start-up that was ahead of its time which prevented a suicide

Xanthis successfully traded for over 10 years. We developed a clinical evidence base for our product which included a survey in a police call centre which showed that people who used our eMental health tool clinically improved their mental health scores. I remain very interested in and committed to technology; how to develop it and use it in health, mental health and wellbeing.

Supporting and collaborating with another innovative mental health provider

Since their launch in 2019 I have worked on a number of projects with Head Office; a small mental health and wellbeing consultancy on a mission to help businesses support the mental health and wellbeing of their people.  This work includes clients in the creative industries, allowing me the chance to use my workplace health, mental health and wellbeing knowledge collaboratively with interesting clients outside of my usual arenas.
